Thank you for your interest in Pure Heart Photography! My name is Katie. I am a newborn, children and family photographer for DeRidder, La and the surrounding areas. I have worked as a Registered Nurse for the past 9 years, but have loved photography since I was a little girl. Now that I have 3 children, it is such a blessing to be able to stay at home with them, while doing what I love. I have an absolute passion for so many realms of photography with a simple style. My sessions are always laid back and relaxed- we will have a lot of fun...sometimes I even bring snacks ;)
We will do whatever it takes for you and your family to have a memorable experience captured for a lifetime.
What motivates me? Time goes by so fast. Capturing moments of what life is like right now, is so valuable. Getting shots of little hands and feet, giggles, hugs....it's what this is all about!
Photography, in a way, freezes time and allows you to relive precious moments.
What is my style? I go crazy over the slightly dark, creamy dreamy boho look with warm & natural tones. I encourage all of my clients to wear neutrals & earthy colors in solid patterns with pops of texture for that extra somethin'.
